Why is it more than a $12 registrar?
A $12 name is registered to you — your name in the record, a card on file, privacy sold as an add-on, and a first year that renewal recovers. This one is held in our name, with DNS and the API included and no step-up. The breakdown.
Can I really register a domain anonymously?
Yes. Outis never asks who you are — an account is an email you invent and a password. The name is registered in ours, so the public record has nothing of yours to disclose. How it works.

Does the price rise at renewal?
No. There is no introductory rate to step up from — year three costs exactly what year one did.
Is anything off limits?
Yes. Not keeping a record of you protects who you are, not what you do. Phishing, malware, fraud, abuse material and the rest of the acceptable use list get services removed and accounts closed.
